Tales of Monkey Island on sale!
June 27th, 2012 by Becky | Comments Off | Filed in Links, ShortI feel like Gog’s biggest advertising helper (even though of course they’re not paying or endorsing me at all) but seriously, their games and sales have started to really get good! Today’s sale is Sam and Max Save the World for US$11.99, Sam and Max Beyond Space and Time for US$11.99, and most importantly, Tales of Monkey Island for US$13.99! Tales is the only Monkey Island game I haven’t played, and I loved what Telltale Games did with Back to the Future, so I will be buying this. I’ve been waiting for it to come on sale for ages on Steam, and everyone knows Gog with its DRM-free games is 100x better than Steam, so this is good for everyone! If you are interested in fun adventure games, don’t hesitate to grab one or all of these.

- How Long to Beat - Ever wondered how long it’ll take you to finish a game? Wondering if it’s worth it for the $50 or $60 you’re about to drop? Check out this amazing website!
- PC Gaming Wiki – Provides fixes for PC games. This is particularly important because these days there are quite a few console ports to PC instead of the other way around or PC exclusives. It definitely causes some bugs sometimes!
- Can You Run It? – Take this with a grain of salt, as setups vary wildly. Still, this will give you a good indication of whether a game will run on your hardware.
